About Chloë Beth Rogers
Chloë Beth Rogers is a contemporary soul and pop singer-songwriter from the town of Pontypool, Wales. After moving to Sheffield in 2016, Chloë made a name for herself in the local scene as a powerful singer and remarkable songwriter. Now, having performed on every major stage in Sheffield and twice at the city’s renowned Tramlines Festival, she has recorded her most moving songs in her debut EP, Flowers On A Sunday.
By combining traditional pop and soul melodies with modern jazz and neo-soul instrumentation, Chloë has created an EP that is both exciting and fresh, while remaining accessible and familiar. In writing and composing the songs herself, Chloë reflects on her heartbreak, personal trauma, and journey to self-love, seamlessly weaving together her experiences with universally relatable themes. The finished product is a deeply personal and introspective piece of art.
Chloë meticulously and painstakingly produced Flowers On A Sunday over a number of years with co-producer Matt Richens and long-time musical peer Archie Baker. The EP faced multiple setbacks due to the increasing severity of Chloë’s long-term disability, epilepsy, which impacted her ability to give the project the attention it needed. Since then, Chloë has become a champion for accessibility and inclusion within the music industry.
Flowers On A Sunday will be released on Friday, 13th September 2024.
